UNFILTERED (working title)
UNFILTERED is a coming-of-age hybrid documentary that follows Tamia McArthur from the age of 15 to 21 as she balances helping to raise her younger siblings while reclaiming her own fleeting childhood. Laced with Tamia’s original poetry – the film constructs an escapist world where Black girls get to simply be kids.
